The Micro Turbo Prop Engine, MTE, is an
exciting new power plant capable of providing pure smooth
turbine power to a wide array of vehicle designs, from
military and commercial applications all the way down to the
average home builder's airplane. The engine can be used
easily in a variety of applications ranging from sea, air
and land based designs. The use and application of the
engine is truly limitless. And because of its very light
weight and high power output potential, the MTE may also be
a very favorable component in the design of first generation
hybrid engine technologies.
In our current focus, we believe the concept of a light
turboprop engine offering within the experimental and LSA
market segments looks very promising. From all initial
indications, we have had very positive comments and
encouragement from ALL sectors of the aviation and aerospace
community. Certainly there exists a few hurdles we must
still overcome, however, we are very confident that over
time these obstacles will be cleared. The acceptance into
the LSA engine category is foremost, and a main achievement
objective of the Micro Turbo Prop Engine, MTE program.
The market for lighter engines is becoming more and more
appealing and necessary across a wider spectrum of aircraft
designs emerging in the LSA and Experimental aircraft
categories. With the advent of the LSA market, it is clear to
us that our product offering can make a substantial impact
to the performance and viability of small light aircraft of
the future.
